  1. Don't know much about Deep Purple, but I got Made In Japan and it's got some seriously mean organ.
  2. Anyone interested in going deeper inside The Wall should buy the DVD version. It's got full-lenth commentary by Waters and the dude who made the animations, plus a bunch of xtras including 'Hey You' which was cut out.
  3. If you watch the film, this happens right before he goes Hitler on everybodys a$$e$, right?. Not an explanation, but just a clue. The guitar solo is one of my all-time favorites. Cranking it up now...
  4. Makes sense to me. What scares me is all these vicious dogs are gonna move down here to Florida. LOL "And in the end you?ll pack, fly down south Hide your head in the sand"
  5. I think pigs are politicians? "Hey you whitehouse, ha ha, charade you are You house proud town mouse, ha ha, charade you are" So maybe it means how politicians soar over the city they try to control as if they wouldn't want to miss a thing? I could be dead wrong though.
  6. It's a well know fact that most of the songs in WYWH are inspired and/or dedicated to Syd. Have a cigar it's about how the music executives never cared about the guy (do they ever?), just to sign him up. "And I mean that most sincerely. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way, which one's Pink?" The cover looks like two guys sealing some kind of deal? One of them is about to get burned real bad. The invisible, faceless guy in the back seems like he has been trveling a lot and he's offering a see-through record. Not sure what it means but it's probably in the same line. I don't know why the album cover is leaking sand and water, or what the red cloth means. It also came with a postcard of a man diving into a lake or very calm sea. Any ideas?
  7. When I'm Sixty-Four by The Beatles. It's got a funny feel to it. Sung by Paul.
  8. I always liked the Abraxas cover. I love the way it pictures his culture. And the angel delivering the conga as if music was a gift from above. And the food as if someone was going to have a feast or a celebration. And the naked woman I also like these among others:
  9. wow, i didn't know this song was so popular. I d/l some: Buddy Holly, Grateful Dead, Green Day, Hank Williams Jr., and Jonny Horton. They all seem to be by the performer mentioned except Ramones was actually DK. Greenday just straight ripped it off The Clash, the rest are all great. I might have to collect them all.
  10. I love her hair. And agree w/ XXX. The shorts in liquid tv were better and bloodier. She used to die at the end of every episode. I have a few best of LTV but no Aeon. Im sure kazaa has some.
  11. oh and 'The Joker' by Steve Miller
  12. I was watching Inside South Park on VH1 and Stone (or Parker?) was talking about how ppl shoudnt be ofended about this kids cuz they get treated and tortured just like all the other kids. And they don't really hate any of the celebs they make fun of, except for Barb Streisand. I love that meka streisand episode. Robert Smith RULES!!! Funny he was a butterfly.
  13. Thanx Bluesboy. If you do a search on Kazaa, youll see all kinds of artists that are obviously made up. Seems like this guy never actually recorded thesong? I see some country singers, might give it a try.
  14. ♪ Everly Brothers? I'm just paste-ing from google.
  15. Could it be CRYING IN THE RAIN - A-ha? That's what google turned up. My email is visible in my profile.
  16. oh man, not another list. There goes my bandwidth again and whatever's left of my social life.
  17. Cmon boys and girls, we all do it. Here's some that always get me: Taxman - Beatles. Can't resist the rolls right before the chorus. The Weapon - Rush. You gotta be a real good air-drummer to play this one.
  18. Dunno, Sorry I can't help. But that reminds me: Who wrote 'I fought the Law'? I've got 3 versions The Clash, Mike Ness and Dead Kennedys (which says 'I won' instead of 'the law won'.
  19. Oh 80's, what I'm I gonna do with you. Just a still town girl on a saturday night, lookin' for the fight of her life In the real-time world no one sees her at all, they all say she's crazy Locking rhythms to the beat of her heart, changing woman into life She has danced into the danger zone, when a dancer becomes a dance It can cut you like a knife, if the gift becomes the fire On a wire between will and what will be She's a maniac, maniac on the floor And she's dancing like she's never danced before
  20. YEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Tell them I said hi.
  21. I'll have to go with Rick Wakeman.
  22. Funny thing, I had the hardest time trying to figure out how to play the instrumental one. One day I saw the tab in a magazine and found out the guitar is tunned in open E.
  23. I better quit before I break the internet.
