  1. The Who, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith and Elvis.
  2. Yea, Hold Your Fire is far superior than Presto, and probably the last one where all songs are good. Now that I think about it, Presto marked the point where I stopped waiting for the next release. Funny that it was also the last one I bought on vinyl. And sorry if I'm hitting on the obvious, but the song Presto is f__ great and The Pass is awesome live :guitar:
  3. I'd say it completely safe to go there, but these guys don't take no chances. It also blocks out huge ammounts of spyware trying to communicate in and out. If combined with Blocklist Manager, it will block millions of IP's. An esential piece of code if you hate the evil-doers of the internet.
  4. LOL Protowall doesn't allow me to go to the IRAA website. :guitar:
  5. My favorite would be Hemispheres as is probably their most cerebral album and is very progressive without being pretentious. Signals and Permanent Waves are way up there too. I would say the best song is Jacob's Ladder or Xanadu. I always thought it would be fun to make an animated video for Xanadu. The Weapon is somewhere there too and so is YYZ and La Villa. From the 90's, Animate. It's safe to say every Rush album is good, although I'm not a huge fan of their post-Presto work, except for a handful of songs. I thought they were from Toronto. Just some random thoughts on Rush since I always like to take on the oportunity to talk about them ::
  6. You know, this newer list seems to have stuff that wasn't there before, like: Britney, Backstreet Boys, Whitney. What the heck is going on. Hootie???
  7. I own 56. The sad thing about the list is how much people are into greatest hits.
  8. Today at midnight (central time), let's all Sniff Some Glue
  9. and don't forget Shine On.
  10. Sepultura? Damn I saw them with Biohazard back in '99 I love Roots Seems like metal is becoming sorta underground and I could say I'm kinda out of the scene. I know this is not what you asked for but there's a band around here called Mabus and they rock violently. I'm sure they wouldn't mind me sharing their stuff.
  11. Doors and Velvet Underground, in that order.
  12. One of the few whole songs I can play on the flute: El Condor Pasa. South-American folk.
  13. Ladies And Gentelman, We Are Floating In Space by Spiritualized. Anyone who seriously enjoys good music will like it.
  14. Stairway to Heaven does not have any flutes. It's a pipe organ. But I guess you could play it on flute and it would sound good. I was just listening to a rock CD these days with some good flutes, but I can't remmember which one now. I'll post back if I do.
  15. ahhhhh... another genre bending hip-hop artist. This is pretty cool. BTW, the bass is a sample from Cure's The Love Cats. These guys know good music
  16. Joe is right. A record revolves. Another name they considered was 'Before Geography', a joke on the Stones' Aftermath. It was Ringo's idea.
  17. In my circle, You'll never hear other than the Bob version
  18. Many Beatles songs. Love Me Do comes to mind.
  19. XXX, you might dig these Postal guys. It's a bit like synth-pop or alternative with a techno flavor and definitely with an 80-ish sound. They have some killer beats and cool bass-lines too. They also go postal once in a while.
  20. Dude, Pavement rocks. I'll have to check on those others ::
