Ombre Vivante Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Besides unattainable girls, I seek muzak that is hard-to-find. I hereby open this topic for the rest of yous to talk about the all-elusive stuff you've been on a mission to find. Right off the bat, I want Fred Bongusto's score for Salvatore Samperi's Malizia: I also want a lifetime supply of Cola Champagne: These are relevant to my interests
edna Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I love this album. It´s not muzak but it might be considered as something similar. I will try to find the cd. But what I really want to find is the album where he sings old songs: "Smile" among them.
Ombre Vivante Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 Muzak, music, anything. It just dawned on me I'm looking for Jula DePalma's Whisky E Dixie. That record is over 40 years old! Definitely a raer in the collector's market... I think.
edna Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Hey, you wouldn´t believe the South American crap I love... I´m downloading early sixties shamefull pop from Leo Dan, Palito Ortega, Leonardo Favio... don´t tell a soul...
Ombre Vivante Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 Hoy corte una flor... y llovia y llovia *head explodes* ====>GAME OVER<==== I've been wanting to get a complete Diego Verdaguer and Sabu discographies. For years that stuff has been unavailable here in North America, but I recently saw a Carlos Mata compilation and that gave me some hope.
edna Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Sabu?! Oh my god... I still have two or three 45 rpms... This guy had some success in the late 60s but then he was involved in an awfull history of kidnapping and killing a baby, he left to Mexico and I learn he died a few years ago...
Ombre Vivante Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 That's crazy. I recall some of those songs being used for telenovelas, but, yeah, he dropped off the face of the planet. Wow.
Blue Fish Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Root beer...I can't find it anywhere over here, I really miss root beer...a lot...I've also been looking everywhere for a Album by "The Sex Pistols" which i haven't got, theres got to be loads of them and i can't even find one...
Ombre Vivante Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 Alright, a few more have come to mind: - Bilitis by Francis Lai (which I'm getting soon) - A better version of Laura, Les Ombre De L'Ete by Patrick Juvet (the record should be coming in the mail) - The songs from the Midnight Express score, specifically the song that plays when Rifki is killed and the song that plays over the guard's radio at the end. - An unreleased track by David Gilmour from the Cement Garden song collection called "Me And JC," which is the song that plays over the radio in the movie. - Nora Orlandi's score for Sergio Martino's Lo Strano Vizio Della Signora Wardh - Fred Bongusto's score for Salvatore Samperi's Peccato Veniale - The score for Slava Tsukerman's Liquid Sky - The first volume of Jojo No Kimyo Na Bouken by Marco D'Ambrossio - Jula De Palma's Whisky E Dixie (featuring the song "Amore Bacciami") - Ryuichi Sakamoto's score for Oneamisu No Tsubasa - The score for Mermaid's Scar
Blue Fish Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Take Five I haven't seen that music on sale anywhere, I really really want it...
The Seeker Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I'm on a mission to find the song "Alexis' Boogie" by Alexis Korner and some other artists, I forgot who...I'm quite sure there was Humble Pie too, and perhaps BB King.
Ombre Vivante Posted November 15, 2006 Author Report Posted November 15, 2006 I just got the LP for Patrick Juvet's Laura! I don't even have a record player anymore!
Ombre Vivante Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 I take it everyone can find what they're looking for musicwise?! That's crazy!
Batman Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I'm having a hard time finding a copy of the collaboration between Matt Molloy, someone Brady, and Tommy Peoples, on CD for a fair price.
edna Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I've got Take Five Me too. I love it. Hi, Daniel!!
