How to Talk Like a Rock Snob

Recommended Posts

I'm getting some schooling....listening to Part 2 right now. Always heard of Nick Cave...never actually listened to him. Is it all like this? How depressing.

I love how Alan Cross introduced this segment as "Know someone who is only wearing black until something darker comes along?"

I'm not typical person like that lol...I hate wearing black, I would prefer to wear insanely bright colours. And I'm not stupid enough to think I know everything about music, cause I obviously don't. So I wouldn't say I'm a rock snob :):) :)

Aren't we all rock snobs here?

Customer: I don't have that record... I'll buy it for forty.

Rob: Sold.

Customer: Now why would you sell it to me and not to him?

Barry: Because you're not a geek, Louis.

Customer: You guys are snobs.

Dick: No, we're not.

Customer: Yeah, seriously, you're totally elitist. You feel like the unappreciated scholars, so you s**t on people who know less than you.

Barry, Rob, Dick: No!

Customer: Which is everybody...

Barry, Rob, Dick: Yeah...

I'd consider a classic rock snob anyone who discounts post 1990's rock.

Well then I guess I'm not a classic rock snob. Most of my friends consider me a music snob, but then again most of my friends aren't as knowledgeable or accomplished as me in terms of music.
