I'm gonna go on a limb and say 1997.

I'll join you on that limb and mention Either/Or - Elliot Smith, Life After Death- Notorious BIG, Dig Your Own Hole – The Chemical Brothers and Ok Computer – Radiohead.

This is really subject to the kind of music one likes but these years were good IMO, I couldn't honestly single out one as the best overall.

wow, this is an old thread. I'm gonna guess that Batman's favourite year for music is no longer 1967.

Yeah it's kinda weird looking back at my older posts. But then, it's not that weird I guess. What 14 year old white male isn't obsessed with classic rock for at least a year?

What about the worst year in music?

I'd pick 1999 :P

Boy-band pop got all the attention and rock was very dismal, with Creed, Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock being the most popular acts. That year also marked a significant change in commercialized mainstream
