amelia68
Hi! I'm looking for the title/artist of a song from the movie Georgy Girl (not the theme song by The Seekers). It is played about 1/2 hour into the movie. Alan Bates and Lynn Redgrave are dancing to it. These are the lyrics that I can make out: Gonna leave her I'm gonna leave her I'm gonna treat her like a no good I don't need her I don't need her I'm gonna leave her where I found her Tambourine man... (couple words I can't make out) I don't need her I'm gonna leave her I can't stand her anymore I'm gonna teach her Thanks Edited December 24, 2005 by Guest
Tenacious_Peaches
Hi amelia! I've tried searching everywhere and can't seem to come up with anything. I did find this ( click here), so this proves you aren't the only one trying to find it. Sorry I couldn't help, but I'll keep looking. Maybe something will turn up. Earth-Angel
This song really is in demand, and I see you have asked for it on various forums with no response other than there is no credit for it and no info on imdb either. Apparently, it sounds like a younger, punkier The Who - does anyone have any clues?

Otokichi
While doing a Google! search for "I'm gonna leave her where I found her," I ran into links to the Yardbirds and the Zombies, but nothing solid. So, what other music of the 1960's sounded like the unnamed band performing this "dump city" tune?
