OLD 55
UPDATED POINTS (Not including Participation Points for Current Questions 1, 2 and 5). Edna 44 Laurie 43 Shawna 32 Daslied 23 Miamisammy 21 Kevin 20 UncleJoe 15 Katie 13 Bluesboy 12 Diggs UK 9 Brad 7 Foxy 5 Levis 2 Lonelyday 1 ................................................. Participation Points are well and truly being missed ! I know some of you only have a go at the Questions you know or are comfortable with and that's fine. We only have 3 Questions left before we call this Competition a day - it's getting to the busy season so we'll go into "recess" with the Quiz. The 3 remaining Questions are all woth 8 Points each now, so theoretically, daslied could tie with edna if he got all 3 correct AND she participated in all 3; shawna, laurie and edna can all still win outright. Good Luck !

OLD 55
Q1. XTC? CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN KATIE ! XTC IT BE. Their Big Hit in Australia and Europe was "Senses Working Overtime" in 1982. I gave a couple of clues on this. I referred to it as "the initial Question" in one of my posts, and also suggested going through the alphabet wasn't a bad idea, after Laurie was up to R or S. OLD 55
QUESTION 5. CLOSED. These Artists also have songs with a common theme. 3 were Charted Hits and 1 a well known album track.* (It was a Hit single here in Australia). OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN / Physical POINTER SISTERS / Jump ROLLING STONES / Walking The Dog* SPENCER DAVIS GROUP / Keep On Running The Theme was EXERCISE. UncleJoe was closest with "Jumping" - he said it first - so 2 Points to him for an Honorable Mention + Participation Points to others. .................................................. Speaking of Participation Points, they've again been instumental in the result. Edna was 1 Point ahead of Laurie overnight, but Edna forgot to participate in Q2 while Laurie participated in all three. That makes the result A DRAW, which is probably fitting, as they have been the outstanding players in this particular Quiz. .................................................
