For those of who you want to get that tune OUT OF YOUR HEADS ONCE AND FOR ALL, here's a little earworm that I think will accomplish that...

MUSICAL INTERLUDE:

"Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind

Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance

Well they aren't no friends of mine

I say, we can go where we want to, to a place where they'll never find

And we can act like we come from out of this world and leave the real one far behind,

and we can dance

Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind

Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance

Well they aren't no friends of mine

I say, we can go where we want to, to a place where they'll never find

And we can act like we come from out of this world and leave the real one far behind,

and we can dance

And we can Sing!

Ah we can go when we want to, the night is young and so am I

And we can dress real neat from our hearts to our feet and surprise 'em with the victory cry

I Say we can act if want to, if we don't nobody will

And you can act real rude and totally removed

And I can act like an imbecile

I say we can dance, we can dance

everything's out of control

We can dance, we can dance

we're doing it pole to pole

We can dance, we can dance

everybody look at your hands

We can dance, we can dance

everybody's takin' the chaaaaaaance

Safety dance

Safety dance

Safety dance"

(Blah Blah Blah, Yada Yada Yada)

Hah! So there!!

I used to do the same for my son. The song I used to sing him was Bob Seger's "Jody Girl". Used to calm him down. That, or I used to put on a disc I have of Meryl Streep reading the children's story "The Velveteen Rabbit" with George Winston at the piano.
