(How nice of them to add a date 15 minutes from my house)

Queen's Comeback Tour Extended

British rockers Queen are extending their comeback tour with former Free singer Paul Rodgers after adding two new U.S. dates.

The group will play at New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena and California's famous Hollywood Bowl in October.

Queen has not played in the U.S. since 1982 - when frontman Freddie Mercury was still alive.

The group is also considering a full scale American tour for 2006.

I hope they come down and do a show in Florida so I can see them. Just to see Brian May and Roger Taylor live would be worth it. I think Paul Rogers will do the songs justice. I'm a huge Queen fan and even though Freddie is gone I'm sure some of the original spirit of Queen will shine through, and if they decide to throw in "All Right Now" or a Bad Company song then it's a nice bonus. :coolio:

Ahhh Queen in Jersey... awesomeness...

Both Cream and Queen reunion tours in the same year... I think I've died and gone to heaven. Wait no, there's still no Freddie Mercury. I gues I"m still alive. But it's a good alive right now.

I think I've mentioned before that I saw Queen (with Mercury) 10 times from say 1973 through somewhere mid-80's. They were a great band, both live and in the studio.

I have to make this next show number 11 just because it will probably be the last hurrah for Queen.
