CaptainMikeRS
This is my 18th song, also written for my special friend Jenny. Pop/rock tune. A picture of Jenny and I can be found here. It's not as clear as the origional so it's kinda fuzzy. Moonbeam Serenade (Written March 18, 2005 by Mike R. Smale) Can you tell me what binds my body- when I see your stunning face? Can you tell me how a simple hug from you can give me grace? Well it's only when I'm with you, that I'm truly myself. And only when it's like this, is my frown upon a shelf. Out in the night, under only the moon, honey- both of our hearts are fluttering in unity. And I'll speak to gently, in a moonbeam serenade. Crimes and wars blaze madly, upon the television screen. But reflected in your soft eyes, they are purified scenes. Oh, can you tell me why, I'm warmed by your speech? And can you tell me why, only my spirit you can reach? Out in the night, under only the moon, honey- both of our hearts are fluttering in unity. And I'll speak to gently, in a moonbeam serenade. XXX
Aren't most songs essentially about love of one way or another? It's a recurring theme that writers, poets, and artists exploit. How many ways can one say "I love her"? Very creative, by the way. I fall apart like a house of cards when wanting to express something like that, so I think it's great when I see someone else construct sentences with such precision and thought. pete38890
That's a sweet song, better than most that drone manufactured for radio.

windy1
Jenny is lucky. To have found someone not only with those feelings, but the ability to express them. It's lovely.
