gatmina
Any old "Dick Van Dyke Show" fans out there? As a little girl I remember an episode where a white female singer sang "Just in Time", a jazz standard. It must have really impressed me and remained in my subconscious. I sing professionally (did a folk/country c.d. but my real passion is jazz) and was curious to find out who that singer was. edna
Roberta Sherwood sang a cover of that song... I don´t know if she was in that episode you mention. Oh, and welcome!
Earth-Angel
Could you give us a rough estimate of a year? Perhaps you can look through a listing of the shows guests particular to that year
edna
Yes, or just Google for Dick Van Dyke Show, maybe you´ll find it there...
Earth-Angel
Nope, did that already Edna. Just seems to be general info, nothing too specific. And when you click on the seasons, it only takes you to amazon.com. We'd need a specific year as the song doesn't bring up any hits..... Mind you, I could try again

Jillianne
Dyke That word is freakin' hilarious Dyke.. haha
Earth-Angel
Gatmina, the best bet would be to find a listing of either all the shows and guests, or guests and songs. I'm afraid I have never seen the Dick van Dyke show. (ok, yes it is pretty darn hilarious to have those 2 words as your name..... )
bluesboy
I can't find a list of songs either. Rose Marie sang a few songs during those 5 years. I really don't think this is gonna help much.
edna
Why not e-mail Dick Van Dyke agent? Or call the TV channel which produced the show.
gatmina
I honestly never thought about the name (I mean it...). It was just such a great show! Thanks Bluesboy, it just may have been Rose Marie after all. I'll check the web under musical guests though. Thanks again!
