Tionne
Hi, I've been after this song for weeks now and I can't find it anywhere. I did find this site though which gave me a bit of hope of finding someone else who knows it. I have no idea of the artist or title but it is a slow song by a female singer and it's not that long and it was possible released in the last 10 years, I'm guessing. The only lyrics I remember are: I walked out to the sea today Just so I could find love I found out then that........ So very blind The sea The sea Any help would be great, cause I really like the song and I would love to dowload it. Thank you! Edited November 18, 2008 by Guest Sweet! Thanks Martin :)
Mike
Hi, Daizelle I've been searching for this for hours... I really try hard to help people find songs because I know first hand how important and frustrating it is. Is there any more you can give me? Tionne
Thank you so much for taking the time to search for my song! I thought people on this site just helped with songs they knew, I didn't realize they went out and searched for hours for them! I think I pretty much covered everything I know about the song in my first post........um........it was made to sound old but it still sounded kinda new, if that makes any sense? It sounded kinda soul/jazz. And it repeats the same lyrics about twice and then it's finished. I only heard it on late night radio, I'm not even sure of the station I was on, so I can't connect it to any movie or show......sorry this is all so vague. I was hoping that somone would know it just off the top of their head, because I've searched everywhere for it with no luck cause the lyrics are so common. It's not looking too promising is it? Anyway, thank you again for trying to help!
XXX
Jaysus H! That one's probably not transcribed at any website and may be just a song that was a non-single/album track. The closest I could get was Section 25's "Back To Wonder". The lead singer is female and sings in a really soft voice, but the instrumentation is heavy on the synthesizers. "Back To Wonder" Take a walk with me down to the sea I feel it now showing me how To get back there Get back there. . Get back there to wonder. . . . . to wonder Hold me Hold me No train like a slow train. . . there is no train like a slow train There is no train... Sara
Could this be it? To The Sea by Razorlight Away and away, over bridges and sighs And on and on, on and on She keeps it all locked up right inside While up above, where the looking glass skies Go on and on, on and on She can't say a word, she keeps it inside To the sea To the sea Oh down into the sea Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me? So go away, for a year and a day Come back to me, oh you will see Throw it away, there's money to be made Oh darling you will make it in the sea Yeah to the sea Yeah to the sea Oh down into the sea Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me? Just pick me up, put me down We all ... (?) And leave it all, to the sea So go away and then shut your mouth Cause darling, you'll see how it all turns out Ha! Throw it away, for a year and a day And then... come back to me! Down to the sea Down to the sea Oh down into the sea Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me Yeah, what about me? Just pick me up, put me down We all ... (?) And leave it all, to the sea To the sea... No more, no more

Earth-Angel
Morcheeba - The Sea Flocking to the sea Crowds of people wait for me Sea gulls scavenge Steal ice cream Worries vanish Within my dream I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free Fishing boats sail past the shore No singing may-day any more The sun is shining The Water's clear Just you and I walk along the pier I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free A cool breeze flows but mind the wasp Some get stung it's worth the cost I'd love to stay The city calls me home More hassles fuss and lies on the phone I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control here Living free I left my soul there, Down by the sea I lost control with you, And living, living, And I, living, by the sea It got me thinking last night (why, don't ask...) that it could be this song by Morcheeba! gizzard
I know which song yo're talking about! I too have been trying hard to find it. However, I can give one more piece of info...it's on a CD called Slow Mo. It's the last track. I think it might be a super old sample but I need to know who sings the original. If anyone can locate the Slow Mo album sleeve I would be grateful! I found you because I googled the first line of the song. Please if anyone can locate it...do tell! I own the song and was just playing it. The album is about eight years old. It's electronica. Thanks!

LeeBB
That's the one. "All Seeing I" are a trio of DJs who work with all kinds of guest singers, best known for a cover of The Beat Goes On about 10 years ago. There's also a big connection with Jarvis Cocker from Pulp. This song is "Pickled Eggs and Sherbert"... no idea who is actually singing on it. It could be a difficult one to get your hands on. Good luck!, LeeBB
