Ombre Vivante
"If You Want" by Depeche Mode. It's an Alan Wilder composition and it's the best song from Some Great Reward

Ombre Vivante
Daft Punk - Superheroes one of my favorites from DP I love "Night Vision" and "Veridis Quo." Their instrumentals are... sick I guess that could also go for other bands. The Smiths's "Oscillate Wildy" is one of the best (albeit underrated) songs. Speaking of Depeche Mode, there's "Agent Orange" and "St Jarna"

c_s_1987
Like many people, my favourites by some popular bands are often unlikely ones. The Rain Song - Led Zeppelin Innuendo - Queen Minstrel In The Gallery - Jethro Tull High Hopes - Pink Floyd Getting In Tune - The Who She's A Rainbow - The Rolling Stones Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles Night Bird Flying - Jimi Hendrix The Masterplan - Oasis Who You Are - Pearl Jam And, for my fellow Australians: Up And Down And Back Again - Powderfinger Best Kept Lies - Cold Chisel Lazy Gun - Jet
LeeBB
And, for my fellow Australians: Up And Down And Back Again - Powderfinger Best Kept Lies - Cold Chisel Lazy Gun - Jet Midnight Oil before they discovered acoustic guitars and drum machines, four-on-the-floor drums and straight eights bass lines, eg Back On The Borderline and the rest of the Head Injuries album. LeeBB
Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles Would you really say that Tomorrow Never Knows was underrated? edna
TNK is one of the best considered songs of the Beatles... I´d say "She Loves You" is underated, as it´s considered pure pop& yeah yeah yeah yeaaaah... yet it´s one of their most "groundbreaking" songs

Isn't it usually considered to be one of John's greatest masterpieces? LBB I felt I had to mention it simply because it did not appear on the 1962-1966 compilation, even though IMO it is better than every song on that compilation. LeeBB
Strangers ~ The Kinks The Kinks may be the most underrated band in history... what do you think? Pretty much everything from VGPS onwards (apart from a fluke hit with Lola) was completely ignored. Some of the greatest music to ever come out of England. edna
Graham Parker and the Rumour have so many underrated songs... Yes, I know, Graham who and the what?
LeeBB
Graham Parker was a big hit in Australia way back when: Hey Lord, Don't Ask Me Questions Protection New York Shuffle Like a cross between Elvis Costello and Van Morrison. Also strangely reminiscent of the Australian mid-70s act Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons. Good stuff!! LB
