Viaene
does dani california fit here too? it's not about any one particular but about the singer's relationships in general. Dani is the person representing all those girls..
Levis
Is it really a dedication? It's a lot more abstract, IMO... like he's created a new character with a storyline of her own based on 'every girl he's ever known' or something. But it's not really about them as such. What do you think?
Viaene
I think it doesn't fit here, but up till now it's the best I can think of without going through my playlist I'll look harder

Shawna
1. Dreams ~ Fleetwood Mac (interesting dynamic that exists here... Nicks wrote this song during the making of "Rumours" and then had to sing it alongside the man she wrote it for - which ended up in him storming off stage one night in London. Must have been a hellish tour, that.) 2. Down Together ~ Refreshments (Roger wrote this about a camping trip he took with his then-fiance-now-wife Alyssa. Lucky girl.) They were going through a temporary breakup at the time. "Peggy Sue" is most often noted as Buddy Holly's best all time recording. Jerry Allison contributed to the production of the song, and did some fancy drumming on it as well.
bazooka
Carrie Anne -- The Hollies Graham Nash apparently had a crush on Marianne Faithfull, but wasn't ready to go public with that. The Seeker
Not surprisingly, a lot of the songs are dedicated to lovers or spouses... I guess that's what the vast majority of music is about, lyrics-wise. But it's also interesting to see what else music can be about, and about which other people!
