  1. All right emo fans, my buddy had a cd when we were younger that had a live song about Chris Farley, "I'm gonna miss that fat guy" and i am having a dandy of a time trying to find it, an clues on where to start?? p.s. Does anyone know what the song is and who sings the song on the newest Dell commercials? I kind of like it.
  2. :guitar: Anyone out there that loves AIC, what do you all think about Mad Season. I got hooked on them about 2 years ago when I heard that Staley had a side project and all I know is that the one album they had, Above, is amazing. I also downloaded a concert they did I think they are awesome. p.s. mother lovebone
  3. I read this thread and I just wanted to add a fact in there that there is a song on Pearl Jam's Lost Dogs and it is a secret song on the 2nd disc. It is called 4/20/02 i think and it is about Staley. I found out about this on a music channel that plays songs and then gives info about them and every other AIC fan I know that is a bigger AIC fan doesn't know about it so i figured I would spill the beans.
  4. Rehab-Sittin at a Bar Jimmy Buffet- why don't we get drunk and screw Garth brooks-two pina coladas George Thurogood Garth Brooks- BEER run Red Wine- UB40
  5. I like the Van Morrison, Beatles, I would think some John Lennon stuff, Bob Seger, maybe even some Chicago- 4th of July, Clapton's newer stuff would probably work even though I really don't care for it, Billy Joel and Elton John as well
  6. I do only have a 2-disc set of Queen's greatest hits which I couldnt' believe how good they were until I heard this, I have Led's box set on mp3 and a lot of Floyd's albums, so I love them all on their own level, but....Pink Floyd stretches and wins the race with probably one of my all time favorite theme albums, The Wall
  7. I do not think they would have reunited either. I think that John would have been the big one against this especially with how he was tired of the Beatles by the end of it all, even though Paul and George might not have wanted to reunite either. I think Ringo would be the only one that you could definitely say would want to reunite considering he played and was in videos w/ both Paul and George. They may have gotten together for something like a mtv special or maybe one of the Live 8 concerts, we can only wonder
  8. I would like to thank you all for your suggestions, some of them i have already gotten into, but there were several suggestions that I am going to check out. I was wondering about Humble Pie because I heard of them in Almost Famous, but didn't know if they were a real band or not. Thanks again everyone
  9. I am 22, and so I have grown up on the "in general" crappy music of my generation. I do have many favorites from the 90's, but I know there is so much crap out there it makes me sick, especially in the new mellennium. So I have been turning to Classic rock for the last few years and have become in tune with that to where I listen to basically only that which drives most of the people I know up the wall. I have a pretty big collection of oldies, mostly the staples such as Beatles, Doors, Led, Floyd, Stones, Cream, Janis and many of the other popular bands from the 60s and 70s along with several records of my parents I dug up in the basement. What I am asking you old school people that grew up in this generation, is bands that were not really popular from this time to try that you liked to see if I would like them as well. Thanks for the help
  10. Yea, i heard it quite a bit for a while there and i went from kinda liking it to just hating it since i heard it so many times, i think the lyrics kinda suck too the more i hear it
  11. I do believe that it is on Lennon Legend and I think that its a little longer than 1:05 i think, but great song
  12. appreciate it, i knew it wasn't phish. thanks. are you a pretty big fan of that brian robbins cuz he doesn't sound too bad, thanks
  13. K, i've heard by people that tell me they like this song by Phish calle marijuana song and i dont' have it on any of my albums and when I've found it on the internet, it always says album unknown. I've heard it myself and it really doesn't sound like phish, maybe it could be some really early stuff by them that has just surfaced, but i really dunno. So, any phisheads out there that think they have some conclusive evidence about this song, please reply.
  14. thanks everyone for the help, i do have Crazy Mary on my new york live album and the other song i think veder just sings it at the end of a song like he does on others, i'm going on a hunt for this song and will return w/ a title, thanks again for the help.
  15. K everyone out there, i know a few songs that i'm pretty sure are by pearl jam and on my cds, but can't find em. one of the songs goes " you know my number, pick up the phone" and the other goes something similar to this "take a bottle take it down , drink it down, pass it around" and I know i've heard of these and pretty sure they are pearl jam. any help on the name and or albums would be helpful. maybe their on one of my live cd's cuz i think i've gone through most of my albums and they ain't on there that i have found. thanks
  16. My friend was wondering if there was a way to find/see/purchase a picture of James Hetfield drinking out of a Jager bottle. We saw it on a behind the scenes show on metallica, so any help would be appreciated.
  17. In the refrain of the song, it says "one more for the road" and then before that it says something that sounds like "lebo" drawn out. it is an oldie with little info, so any insight would help, thanks
  18. Thanks man, thats a big help, I can now sleep at night
  19. I head the song a million times, but can't put a title or band to it. It goes," Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, try and love one another right now." Old woodstock type song. The other song i heard i dont' have as much info on, I just know it goes " take me to the river," then "tak me to the water" i think. so any help would be great
  20. I don't think that anyone should try to cover this song, especially any of these rockers. They are all a little too hard core for Pink Floyd. I do like NIN better than Korn and Marilyn, but dont' try to cover it please. I think Korn did a better job of the cover than I ever could've imagined they would, but i still wasn't able to listen to the whole song.
  21. I agree with Rogerwaters90125 when it comes to the Pink Floyd order. The wall easily numbers 1. I think that I would go with wish you were here as 3rd, but they all rock so who cares. Also, I would like to see waiting for the sun on the doors list.
