  1. I still say Foghat is making a comeback.
  2. I quit the Eagles when they charged their loyal fans $300 per lawn seat ticket to see them. Since then, just about all the great bands have sold out though...
  3. Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven Cat's in the Cradle - Harry Chapin
  4. Woodstock 2005 - Sponsored by Pepsi. Bottled Water: $8
  5. Found it. It was "Burrito Lady", not "Mama Burrito". Great jingle. Burrito Lady
  6. It's a radio commercial played in the Chicagoland area - I don't if it's local and I can't remember who the commercial is for, but I love the song. I think it's a take on an older tune, but it grabbed my attention yesterday. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
  7. They also did a bang-up job on Sonny Boy Williamson's "Bring it on Home". I still won't go so far as to say that Zeppelin did it better, though.
  8. The beginning of Stairway to Heaven - and that's it.
  9. Lennon-McCartney, no contest. The Beatles didn't make it based on musical ability like other bands, but their songwriting was incredible.
  10. My mom's collection was almost entirely Motown. She was born and grew up in Gary, Indiana (and saw the Jackson 5 at a bar near her house when she was in high school). My dad's collection was mostly Stones and a mixed selection of other classic rock.
  11. The 1990's finish last automatically because of that "Doing it on the Discovery Channel" song. It singlehandedly dragged the entire decade to the bottom.
  12. I can't deny that Dylan, Petty, or Young's voices have served them well. I'd definitely argue that they survived on character and novelty value than singing talent, though. Wow, could you imagine a Dylan, Petty, and Young Christmas Album?
  13. Throw Neil Young in there as a trio.
