  1. Thanks Carl. I won't deny that it was probably influenced, it's just I think that if they claim the name was not inspired, then the Songfact should say that.

  8. Wikipedia has a few different sources, New York Times Magazine and Observer Music Monthly. I'll keep looking for the interview because I saw it in a lot of different places.
  9. I also thought there was too much addition to the earlier rock singers (who I think are just hard country, not real rock). I definentaly agree that some more attention should have been payed to classic rock.
  10. It was Eyes of the World, but whatever.
  11. Sorry if I sound kind of like a perfectionist, but I was reading the songfact for "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley and it says the name is a reference to Charles Barkley. That's not true. In a interview in New York Times Magazine, he says it is made up, as he has on many other occasions. The songfact should actually read "The name Gnarls Barkley is not a reference to the basketball player Charles Barkley, but rather a random name chosen from discussions with friends" or something along those lines,
  12. I just drove 12 hours to Clevland just to go to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Has anyone else been there? Do you agree with the Sex Pistols that it's a disgrace (I might be paraphrasing ). I enjoyed it and was fascinated by the things they had. So much memorabilia that you can't see anywhere else, and some stuff that you didn't think you needed to see. Plus, they had a cool gft shop.
  13. Were you aware that if the President of the United States was the longest ever recorded flight by a chicken, then he would be 13 seconds? Just ponder that.

  19. She covered Rod Stewerts "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy." First, that song was voted one of the top 40 songs of all time. So why one would bother, I do not know. And second, we don't Paris. We don't.
