  1. Nope. Both Tim and Enrique were stars before "Idol" first aired. . . . And what planet are you living on? Jordin WON "Idol" last year.

  3. It's still April Fools Day here, too. But
  4. I think this message board is getting a little gunky.
  5. Yes, it does. See my post on page 1 (6th item down).
  6. ok Enrique Iglesias Tim McGraw Nikko Smith Jordin Sparks
  7. Specifically 2 Academy Awards each for Best Actor! However, you left off Dustin Hoffman (1979, "Kramer vs. Kramer" and 1988, "Rain Man").
  8. I actually picked UNC. But your answer's correct!
  9. My favorite Fleetwood Mac song ... and I've always loved Sonny & Cher. I was glued to their TV show when I was a kid. And OLD55, a great one with Photograph. Ringo was always my favorite Beatle.
  10. Both great songs, Laurie. And bset wishes to your dad.
  11. This week already has me licking my chops over a number of good nominees; hopefully one or both of mine will find a way to sneak through. In the words of Bonnie Raitt: "Have a Heart": All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You-Heart (1990) (Who doesn't love a song about a child conceived in an adulterous one-night stand? And even if you know the song, make sure to catch the sensuous video.) Or as the Phil Collins song goes: "Two Hearts": Hungry Heart-Bruce Springsteen (1980)
  12. Sorry it took so long to get a question up; I didn't see the post of the answer right away. Here goes: Rock and Sports for $164: The nephew of this group's lead singer is a participant in the Final Four of this year's NCAA college basketball championships.
  13. Nickelback is a definite and the Turtles would get strong consideration.
  14. Several Heart songs have been nominated, 3 reaching the top 10 (Barracuda, Crazy on You , Magic Man), but none of the 3 I listed had ever been nominated.
  15. I hope you know, I hope you know That this has nothing to with you It's personal, Myself and I We've got some straightenin' out to do And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket But I've got to get a move on with my life Its time to be a big girl now And big girls don't cry Big Girls Don't Cry-Fergie word up: kosher
  16. Actually checked the archive: not one of these 3 Heart songs has ever been nominated!
  17. A maybe, depending on the nominees, but not as strong as the other 2. Good night.
  18. I'll definitely vote for Glad All Over. They're a great band that's been underrepresented so far. Plus, a tribute is appropriate to lead singer Mike Smith, who died just last month. A World Without Love would be on my short list as well.
  19. She says no When she means yes And what she wants You know that i can't guess When we want more You know we ask for less Such is the language of love... The Language of Love-Dan Fogelberg word up: soapsuds
  20. The Boys Are Back in Town-Thin Lizzy "Friday night they'll be dressed to kill Down at Dino's bar and grill The drink will flow and blood will spill If the boys wanna fight You'd better let 'em" word up: wanderlust
