  1. False. You've hit my limit on ethnic Jewish cuisine. You've dressed up in a costume as a character of the opposite sex. (In a play or skit . . . if it was for other reasons I don't want to know! )

  10. FYI. Israel was Israel since the days of the Old Testament (you might want to read it if you have any doubts), until it was conquered by Rome in 70 A.D. And the Palestinians have been terrorizing Israel, a country legally created by English mandate, to obtain land which at present time they do not legally have a right to. I would love to see a treaty that would allow an independent Palestinian state to be created. But the new state must also recognize Israel's right to exist, both at the time of the treaty and for all generations thereafter.
  11. True, with lots of horseradish. And I like matzah too; but I'm used to it and I guess it is an acquired taste. You're voting for Hilary Clinton on Tuesday
  12. You may be bitter, but your facts are all wrong. Israel was granted independence by England in 1947. Any land it has gained since its initial borders were all won after wars which Israel's Arab neighbors started in an attempt to annihilate her. Israel has no less right to these areas than the US does to lands it acquired in the War of 1812 and the Mexican War. It is a credit to Israel that it is willing to discuss creating a Palestinian homeland out of these areas in the hope that this will bring peace to the region. . . . But as long as Hamas is not willing to accept Israel's right to existence, how can Israel agree to accept Palestine's?
  13. Dappled's Theme, part II: Surprisingly, in my 8th week nominating for the Top 10, this is only my first nomination of an Elton John song- Bennie and the Jets-Elton John (1973) Even more surprisingly, this nomination qualifies as meeting OLD55's challenge to have at least 1 nominated artist who hasn't yet hit the SFC Top 10: Love Child-Diana Ross & the Supremes (1968)
  14. True. I often take my son to the nature center where we've been able to touch snakes, lizards, etc. In fact a friend of mine breeds snakes and is bringing several of them to my son's next Cub Scout meeting. You've eaten matzah
