RonJonSurfer
Bono Slams G8 Pledge He insists only a fraction of their $60 billion pledge will be spent to help Africa. Rocker Bono has blasted the G8's pledge to spend $60 billion on the fight against Aids, malaria and tuberculosis in Africa - insisting only a fraction of that sum will be spent. The leaders of the G8 nations made the vow at the summit in Germany Friday - revealing half the amount would be provided by the U.S. But Bono and anti-poverty campaigners believe only $3 billion will be new money and that the G8 isn't doing all they can to alleviate third world suffering. He says, "I think it is deliberately the language of obfuscation. It is deliberately misleading." Photo Copyright Getty Images
Blue Fish
I have lost all faith in G8 to be honest with you. They seem to create more and more ripples that need to be seen through and sorted then sorting any of the old ones out...

Blue Fish
To me they are. I have no Idea what they stand for or are trying to do any more. It, seems to me they are obsfucating (obfuscating?) better then helping to stop AIDS, Hunger, and the other stuff.
