edna
"I am the walrus" first? Oh, well... I don´t like this Top ten very much... But yes, they´re some classics...
OLD 55
I agree edna. They're a long way from being the best Ten from that List. But the voters have spoken. THANK YOU to those who did take the time to vote. I would say that Chris would be very disappointed that so many didn't, for whatever reason/s. Anyway Chris, your efforts to give us a little variety from our regular Top Tens are much appreciated. Unfortunately numbers are dropping off there too. Uncle Joe
Out of the 55 Top Tens and the 3 Ultimate Top Tens this list is by far my least favorite. Disappointing. It's sorta like listening to a top 40 radio station.
Farin
^ and the worst thing it's all our own fault
bazooka
this list is by far my least favorite. Disappointing. It's sorta like listening to a top 40 radio station. It seems to me that most of the Tens, and especially the Ultimates, wind up being "common denominator" ( I won't say "lowest" ) lists. The times I've been genuinely surprised by the results have been few and far between (Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose, Desmond Dekker and a couple of others). Farin
yes, the Top Tens rarely surprise me either... but what does it mean? that we know each other well enough to guess what the majority will vote for? or what?
Lucky
Great job Chris! You worked hard on this, as usual. I don't care for this one either, I must say. Most of the songs I voted for are hanging out in the bottom bunch. I agree with you about Led Zep, but I voted for Whole Lotta Love! I'll take "What Is and What Should Never Be"... TheLizard
Two Beatles songs at the top, but no Doors songs in the ten??? I demand a recount!

Uncle Joe
but regardless what we think the outcome is, it's not Chris' fault Of course not but someone must be sacrificed. If Scooter Libby can take the hit for Chaney then why can't Chris take the blame for this?

Dappled
Whole Lotta Love is better than Immigrant Song. End of story. I agree. The strange thing is that Whole Lotta Love was #2 when it was nominated, beaten only by Come Together. }
