_Laurie_
I'm having my left-over shrimp scampi that I ordered at dinner tonight...Delish! I also had soup (seafood bisque), garden salad with Italian dressing, garlic breadstick, and a glass of wine....
MuzikTyme
I love shrimp but I think it's one of the worst left-overs. Same w/salad. Soup is good a few times, though. I'm having buffalo scallops skewered w/green peppers, onions and Hanover tomatoes . . . w/scalloped potatoes mixed w/fresh ground parsley and a smear of sour cream, Texas toast w/a dash of just-sautéed garlic and a frosty mug of Spaten. Dessert consists of cherry cheese cake.
_Laurie_
That's true about the shrimp...it gets too tough when reheated...but I don't care, it was too expensive to waste...
Uncle Joe
I find that heating leftover shrimp either in the oven or in a pan on the stove works fine. The microwave turns them rubbery.
_Laurie_
Yep...I heated it up in a pan...the microwave would definitely ruin it...

Tenacious_Peaches
I wish I could visit the Soup Nazi. The rednecks down here don't have a clue what deli food is. I miss my Jewish brothers and sisters.
Blue Fish
And for what, dear Bloof, did you use the bass? Slow cooked it with some tyme and bay leaf and a bit of butter, served it up with boiled potatos raw carrot and some salad....
Uncle Joe
Sounds good. I'd have added some lemon and replaced the tyme and bay leaf with parsley and black pepper. The boiled potatoes are a nice touch. I'd have eaten the raw carrots while I cooked. Bon apetit!
