Batman
hypnotic electronica, perfect for a rainy day, please listen to Roy G Biv it may change the way you look at electronica.
Red Fish
That was okay. I'm not a fan of techno/electronica stuff, but it's good background music for if you're concentrating on something.
Batman
I hope that 2nd comment was directed at the song, and not the genre
Red Fish
Yeah, I meant the song. Blasted pronouns are too unspecific in our language. Generally, techno and electronica stuff is more obnoxious and in-your-face than this song is.
Batman
there are actually many genres of electronica that are not loud or in your face at all, such as ambient, trip hop, minimalist, and dub. The "in your face" stuff is mostly confined to dance, house, and hardcore.
Ombre Vivante
I like some Electronic music and I like slow-tempo stuff, but this doesn't quite cut the mustard for either. The video is quite nice for a fan vid, though. I've heard some interesting stuff from Boards Of Canada and The Future Sound Of London. Aphex Twin (aka "Polygon Window") also have some interesting stuff. I can't be bothered with the different subgenres of this junk. Also, I used to find Electronic music overwhelming just on numbers alone, but then I realised that 99% of it is unlistenable trash.

Farin
oh, I listened to them yesterday without realising that we have a thread about them pretty good PS did already somebody mention that they're a Scottish band?
Foolonthehill
yeah that surprised me. According to wikipedia, they named themselves that because they liked the National Film Board of Canada.
