Farin Posted March 2, 2007 Author Report Posted March 2, 2007 in week #52 we had 50 nominations: 50s : 3 (6%) 60s : 9 (18%) 70s : 16 (32%) 80s : 7 (14%) 90s : 9 (18%) 00s : 6 (12%) and in the Top Ten: 60s : 1 (10%) 70s : 5 (50%) 80s : 1 (10%) 90s : 3 (30%) Three 90s songs in the Top Ten! When was the last time that happened? (or is it even the first time?) in the whole list there were a couple of songs with the same number of points - so I had to use our tiebreaker rules - nothing special so far, but the 'race' between "I don't like Mondays" (#5) and "What's Up" (#6) was the closest I ever had: - both songs (and "Lump" on #7) have all 51 points , - next decides the number of people who voted for it: that was 10 people for all three songs, - next we decide with the number of #1 placements it has recieved, then #2 places etc.: "Lump" was nobodys #1 so it was the last of this three, but look the points for the other two: "I don't like..." : 10, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point "What's Up" : 10, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2 so if only one person had put it on #6 instead of #7 in their Ten, it would all be different
