It'll probably be somewhat similiar to the Windows Media Player already included with most computers, in which case, might be worth checking out. I heard about it a few months ago just havent heard anything else about it. I think it may be a software package which portable player manufacturers can incorporate into their hardware. Yes, it is built around Microsofts WMA format. The software, known as Janus, would allow for time limited tracks to be 'rented' rather than downloaded and kept.
