_jr_
I always though 'Goodbye Blue Sky' had two meanings, literal and symbolic. In the literal sense, and the in the context of the movie, it's the blanketing of the sky with war planes during WWII. There were literally thousands of aircraft in the sky on a daily basis over Europe. It couls alos mean the smoke from the bombings, even the flak from the ground forces. The symbolic one, however, had to do with the loss of innocence and childhood with the coming of the war, or adolescence, or whatever. A blue sky represents clarity, and a certain degree of purity. those are just my own interpretations, though.
Pharoah
Well, in the actual video for Goodbye Blue Sky, it resembels your literal meaning more than the symbolic. The world may never know.
