RonJonSurfer Posted April 8, 2005 Report Share Posted April 8, 2005 Green Day Hits the Big Screen Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has teamed up with movie-makers to bring his autobiographical 'American Idiot: The Motion Picture' to the big screen. Armstrong has written a treatment for the project - due to start shooting next year - and has handed it to a top screenwriter, who is currently developing the characters. The "Holiday" star will continue to keep a close eye on the movie, but remains tight-lipped as to whether the band will star in their own film. He says, "I just want to make sure it's done properly and does not suck. I think there'll be more music to go with the film. But as far as us being in it, I couldn't say."
