cindy17838
I'm pretty out of touch lately with pop culture as I don't go to see movies and have been boycotting most new bands since Brittney Spears but I have a few thought on the rest. Best Movie: Didn't see any, Return of the King I saw three times in '04 but it came out in 2003 Best CD: Feedback by Rush Best Song: "Meant to Live" by Switchfoot, bought the CD and the rest of it sucked Best Reality Show: tie, any of the ones that got cancelled were tops on my list Best Regular Show: "The Wire", HBO, still hoping this isn't the last season Best Comeback: personal, Jerome Bettis of the Steelers and group, the Red sox in the Yankee series down 3-0, trailing with one inning left. Best Sports Moment: tie, Red Sox with the comeback and sweep and Lance Armstrong for winning a sixth Tour de France, something no one has ever done before Hottest Girl/Boy: Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, I'm a tennis fan, what can I say? Best Commercial: Anything by Geiko and I still love the Polar Bears who drink Coke TV Show you were most glad to see get cancelled: Any of the reality shows that didn't get renewed Band you were most glad to see break up: Did Nsync have anything new this year? Get rid of Timberlake and all our lives will be better Best Moment or event (personally): RETIREMENT I now work three or four days a week for a total of less than twenty hours, it's wonderful, everyone should try it Most Shocking Event: The attack on Christmas, what's wrong with people if you can't like Christmas? Your Rating of 2004, overall: C+ but would have failed miserably if not for my retirement and GW getting reelected And someone mentioned I-Pods. Why would anyone want an I-Pod where you have to pay for the music when you can get it free and play it on any MP3 player? I would really like an answer to this since it still makes no sense to me. Is it the cool looking player? Anyone have an I-Pod and want to explain the situation? Is there something I'm missing about the I-Pod experience? Is it the cool looking player? Anyone have an I-Pod and want to explain the situation? Is there something I'm missing about the I-Pod experience? The iPod explosion was what I put as the shocking moment. I just don't get them. I think people like them just because they are more well known than other mp3s
_jr_
Why bother with mp3 players, either? Isn't it enough to have a stereo?

My MP3 player fits in my pocket and all the songs were free. I used my old one when I was on my way to work; my new one I use when I'm skiing. ::
