scott
Well so far I've played a lot of stuff, but my main 'job' is guitar/vocals (both of which I suck at) but I'm kind of the 'front man' so to speak, being that I write (so far) 95% of the stuff, and I brought the guys together. Mairi
Erm......2005, we should see the likes of the chilis return with a kickass album in spring! Greeeeeeeeen Day should still be going strong but less comercialised (damn newbie followers), The Killers are gonna kick some butt, Franz Ferdinand should do well (go the Scots!) Yeh, seeing as Scott did it, i'll plug my band. Crime Against Perfection are a group of really cool dudes and dudettes who like to rock. I'm their back-up singer if their singer isn't there. meh, i feel so important.
scott
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure the Foo Fighters should be comin' out with another album in '05. And I'm gonna have to agree with Mairi, I'm also lookin' forward to another RHCP album.
Addictedtoclassic
I'd like to see Scott's band make it big. How often does anyone from North Dakota make it big in the music industry. I also think Scott should make a trip to Minnesota in July to see the greatest classic rock festival in the Midwest.
scott
Hey dude, if you cound Lawrence Welk as making it big in the music industry, then I suppose that you could say that one North Dakotan has hit it big in the music industry. EDIT- By the way as far as best classic rock fest in the midwest, party in the pasture is pretty ___In' sweet! (we've had Petty, Skynrd, BOC, etc.)
Addictedtoclassic
It's sad that there aren't many midwesterners that make it big in the music industry. But some that have, have made quite an impact. AND, I was being subjective on the rock festival comment. Although 4 days of camping, classic rock, wild nights, and lots of beer, make for one heck of a party. Check out my Moondance Jam thread for more details. 40 bands, one location, 4 days of music, oh my goodness!
