Usually I can find these things fairly easily just by searching on the net but not this time. The lyrics I remember are, "The one I love, shines like silver, the one I love..." Although, she doesn't sing about her love shining like silver, it just reminded me of it straight away. Even if it's not the right song, I'm posting the lyrics as it is such a moving piece... SoulGirl Posted December 5, 2004 Report Share Posted December 5, 2004 i love the individual songs from les mis but the actual show was disappointing i thought! we have a stage singer and actor michael sands in cork, who was in les mis a few years back. he's a good friend of mine and the last two summers running i've had parties which ended with him singing songs from les mis in my kitchen at seven am. he's incredible. one of my best friend's does a stunning version of on my own - beautiful song - and last summer she sang a gentle fall of rain with michael. it was amazing!! Thanks very much for your willingness to help. Unfortunately I can't remember much else except that I think the line "soft like moonlight" is in it as well. I imagine it would most likely be from the 70s (but possibly earlier) and it is very much in the Air Supply style of romantic pop song. I saw your posting (which I noticed later on was almost a year ago) through Google search. Anyway, here are some parts of the song, as far as I can remember (the dots indicate the missing parts): The one I love Shines like silver The one I love Glows like moonlight The one I love Warm like sunshine The one I love .... It is also available on a 2 CD set released in 2001 by EMI Music, called "Time and Time Again - The Best Of The Song And Dance Man" Sorry...I am a brand new user and havent quite figured how to properly navigate this site yet.
