Tenacious_Peaches
...is also known as the Grammy winning, Oscar nominated rapper/singer/actress Queen Latifah. She has just released a CD of jazz and RnB covers called "The Dana Owens Album". I think it is wonderful...her voice is smooth as silk. She sings with Al Green on a version of his "Simply Beautiful" that is fantastic. I give this CD two thumbs up. My name is Peaches and I approved this recommendation... ::
DiggsUK
I'm starting to like a bit of 'proper' soul, jazz and R&B, so I may well give it a whirl. Thanks TP. Regards

Carl
She was on Saturday Night Live last week as the musical guest and host. She pulled it off almost as well as Christina Aguilera (I'm serious, Christina was great - check the Sex In The City skit if you don't believe me). Queen Latifah seems to be heading into that crossover territory where she can sing in anything, act in anything, and appears everywhere. In order to continue her ascent, she needs to fire whoever told her to follow up her wonderful role in "Chicago" with "Bringing Down The House" and this movie with Jimmy Fallon that looks so bad they can't pull 30 funny seconds for a commercial.
