Carl
A British police officer was suspended for peppering testimony with song titles. I kind of like this guy: http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/nov/04/saunders-firearms-song-officer-suspended Courtesy of the mighty Alexander Baron, a possible sample of his testimony: Well Judge, He fought the law, and the law won; bang, bang, we had the call, he may have been a lawyer with a licence to steal, but Janie got a gun, and it was Blue Murder. We both went for the gun, Bang, bang, we shot him down, and with a flick on the wrist I was death on two legs. And I hung my head, but I did it my way. Otokichi
At the last.fm group, "I Still Buy CDs/Discussions," there's a "Make up a story using song titles from the above user's Currently Played list" thread. It takes quite a bit of imagination and creativity to create something out of what amounts to a set of random phrases. The officer in question made the transcriber's day, as the judge thought "I'd use a different song title here/there." This certainly makes briefs and trial transcripts more interesting reading.
