Danielj Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 I know of four artists who have played at"BUDOKAN" -Ozzy -Cheap Trick -Bob Dylan -The Rolling Stones Who else has played there? ANd what is it? A huge stadium where everything is recorded? HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAHHHAHAHAhAHAhA
Carl Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 As far as I know, Buddokan is a sacred Japanese temple with great acoustics and mystical powers that make Cheap Trick sound great. I think holding concerts there was a big deal due to its sacredness. In the US, the exotic concert location of choice is Red Rocks, Colorado.
scott Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Now Carl are you saying that Cheap Trick wouldn't sound great normally? Because if you are, I'm going to have to hate you forever (just kidding, I could never hate you)
scott Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Oh yeah, as far as the Red Rocks thing, here's my two cents on that *Homer voice* Mmmmmmm John Tesh
Ken Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Bob Seger said it best. Please reference "Live Bullett", recorded live at Detroit's Cobo Hall... I was readin' in Rolling Stone the other night.... They said that Detroit audiences are the greatest Rock and Roll Audiences in the world! I thought to myself, 'Shi*, I've known that for TEN YEARS!" Testify, Bob, testify....
