Me too! When I was younger I grew up on my dad's oldies in the car, and loved it. But the second on of my friends would get in the car, I"d begin to make fun of it and my dad for listening to it. Now I'm the one who listens to it and have actually turned alot of my friends ON to oldies

Yep, there are alot Punjab and Indian music that they mix with Rap today, take Punjabi MC and Jay-Z's "Beware", where they took the ever popular Mundian Bach Ke and had Jay-Z write his own lyrics. Also with Eminem and a few other unknown rappers. Punjabi MC is a band founded by Rajinder Rai (a DJ). They fuse bhangra with the latest music. It's really popular in clubs.

Unfortunatley Jona, I'm unaware of any of Punjabi's songs that don't have any sort of lyrics in them, but in alot of clubs the DJ's remix his stuff and just use the dance track, so that could have been what you heard. But you should definitly give him a listen even if it's not the song your looking for. Sorry I couldnt be more of a help!

Try checking out Punjabi MC, I'm a big fan and his big song is Mundian To Bach Ke or aka Knight Rider Mix. It's a really popular song. Hope this helps!

Ya I'm a Specials fan too, I went to the Coast To Coast Roast with Catch 22 and Reel Big Fish, it was great.

I'm a huge ska fan, stuff like Catch 22, Mustard Plug, Mad Caddies and The Planet Smashers. Anyone else you like that I should check out?
