_Jayson_ replied to Zephyr's topic in Questions and Answers
Maybe somebody can make some sense out of these. The Zephyr Song - Red Hot Chili Peppers Can I get your hand to write on Just a piece of lead to bite on What am I to fly my kite on Do you want to flash your light on Take a look its on display - for you Coming down no not today Did you meet your fortune teller Get it off with no propellor Do it up it's always stellar What a way to finally smell her Pick it up it's not to strong - for you Take a piece and pass it on Fly away on my Zephyr I feel it more then ever And in this perfect weather We'll find a place together Fly on my wing Riddlin on liberator Find a way to be a skater Rev it up to levitator Super mainly aviator Take a look its on display - for you Coming down no not today Fly away on my Zephyr I feel it more then ever And in this perfect weather We'll find a place together In the water where the scent of my emotion All the world will pass me by Fly away on my Zephyr We'll find a place together Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - do you Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - won't you Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Fly away on my Zephyr I feel it more then ever And in this perfect weather We'll find a place together In the water where the scent of my emotion All the world will pass me by Fly away on my Zephyr We're gonna live forever Forever -

Covers done better than the originals

Even though I am a big fan of Black Sabbath , I think Primus' cover of N.I.B. is better than the original. Ozzy sings on both versions, but Les Claypool is just one of the best bassist. -
That's exactly what I was thinking Kurt. :guitar:

Now this is actually around where I live. :: This is a picture of Lake Lanier( dunno how they got it to look that good). I live about 15 minutes from the lake. This is along the Chattahoochee River

Here's a picture of Georgia. Wait... Thats Georgia the country, I knew Atlanta couldn't look that nice!

Ive always found it hard to sweep/alternate pick on a Les Paul. And Its hard to get that heavy sound out of a Strat(no humbuckers). :guitar:
-
I could have sworn this was a song from the late 60's early 70's first time I heard it.
-
I enjoy listening to them. They are a good band. :guitar:
-
I dont like how the Les Paul body fits. The Strat just fits snugly, plus I can never find a good spot to rest my hand on the Les Paul. But soundwise both have very distinctive sounds. If I had to choose, I would take em' both. :guitar:
-
Besides those two, what does the rest of the album sound like?
-
Has he signed with a major record label yet?
-
He seems like he was influenced a great deal by SRV. :guitar:
-
"O Brother Where Art Thou?" does have a good soundtrack. I like to listen to that blues song. By the guy sold his soul to play guitar.
-
"Wish You Were Here" has a nice acoustic sound to it. :guitar:
-
Because I started listening to 96Rock! But i still listen to 99x too.
-
Well of course its pretty obvious my name is Jayson. For 9903, I got my former favorite radio station, 99x, and added my favorite number. Very creative huh?
-
If you like classical and shred/metal you might like Yngwie Malmsteen. He's one of the best guitar players I have ever heard. "Far Beyond the Sun" is amazing. :guitar:
-
Oh I love "whipping post"
-
Worse than Milli Vanilli?
-
I enjoyed listening to his cover of "Changes" :guitar:
-
"Fool in the Rain" has been stuck in my head off and on for nearly 3 months now. But its not so bad because its a cool song. :guitar:
