Hey Viewaskew....My favorite band from your area (and formerly mine) is Johnny's Dance Band. Perhaps you've heard of them? They were big in the late 70's, early 80's...then were known as Nan Mancini & JDB. Great band...often seen at John and Peter's in New Hope. I have all of their stuff on disc (after searching for many years).

Way back when this song came out I believe it was stated that Suzanne was a girl that James met in drug rehab. She didn't make it.

There's a great girl doo wop group named StreetHeart in the Philly/NJ/NY area. While looking for some of their stuff on Kazaa I found your band. Quite a distance from what I was looking for. I know this is of no help to you but I wanted to share. LOL
