  1. Oh, the shame! To cheat and still not get the right answer....fie, fie, fie. Hmmm, John Cusack, huh? No, I don't deserve another chance. I'll just watch until someone gets it.
  2. Hmmmmm....Tenacious D: Complete Masterworks by any chance? I cheated by going to Netflix. I shoulda known this without cheating. I'm so ashamed. What's worse is that I'm not even sure it's correct. Is it?
  3. Heard any good limericks lately? Written any?
  4. I'm told there is a "hidden" whispered talking track by Jim Morrison on "Riders On The Storm". Know anything about this? I've tried but I can't hear it as someone said I would. If you know of this please recommend a way to hear it. Thanks.
  5. Jimi Hendrix Janis Joplin Jim Morrison Mama Cass Elliot Elvis Presley Buddy Holly Harry Chapin Were they alive what would they be doing today? For example, I think Jim Morrison would have gone on to an acting career in movies. Playing the enigma in arty mood pieces. Janis Joplin would have hosted her own TV Variety Show in the 80's and would have had sevral cross-over country hits. LOL Jimi would be in a museum somewhere as a freak having survived more drugs than anyone deemed possible. Anyway, what do you think?
  6. Wha? You don't like "All Together Now"? Geez, and I know all the words to that one.
  7. Anything by Barry Manilow...in the car, in the house, in the asylum.... ANYWHERE !
  8. Jenny, that's a wonderful song. I always get a little choked up when I hear it. I imagine that Eddie Mercury is singing it knowing that he's dieing from AIDS. But the words really do seem to capture the feeling that Onlyone describes. WTG!!!
  9. LOL, Peaches...I love your "colorful" expressions. PS: Allow me to correct my typo...it's Arte JoHnson. I like his Dirty Old Man...With Ruth Buzzi as the Homely Spinster with Bun(HSB). DOL: Do you believe in the hereafter? HSB: Why, yes...I suppose so. DOL: Then you know what I'm here after.
  10. Tom Jones, IMHO is one of the most underrated singers of our time. I guess it's because he became such a Vegas act in his career. But, talk about blue-eyed soul? This guy can sing R&B with the best of 'em. He'd probably have been given his due had he not gone Vegas or if he hadn't recorded so many cross-over type songs (like Green, Green Grass of Home). Anyway, I like him.
  11. I thought last night's show was very good. We're getting more and more depth on the characters and on the plot. The previews for next week seem to signal an increase in the weirdness. Apparently the survivors are going to see people emerging from the woods who had to have perished in the rear of the fuselage. Very interesting (a la Arte Jonson's Nazi).
  12. Oops! Darn, I thought this was a thread about the Philadelphia Eagles. My bad. LOL
  13. Though I was never a big Elvis fan I must agree with Denmark Street. Elvis' 1968 TV Special was electric. It signaled in a big way that he not only was back but was better than ever. His subsequent career bears out the impact of his comeback.
  14. 3. Blow...because by moving the object through the air you are forcing air into/against the object causing the swish sound.
  15. I think you may be referring to Santo and Johnny's "Sleepwalk". Great song. Check out the version by Larry Carlton, done in the 90's.
  16. When I don't want to use AMG I just google the artist(s) name and usually find several sites with the kind of info in which you're interested.
