  6. Little anecdote about that not being the most recognizable lyric: We were at the yearly festivities in Ghent, where I go to uni and there was a place where they played rock'n roll and swing music. I love this kind of music so I was doin' a little dance, waiting for a smash hit to go crazy So the DJ started the "A-Wop-bop-a-loo-lop a-lop-bam-boo" and I was like woohoo :happybanana: My friends looked at me like I've finally gone completely mad and my gf said: "do you know that song? and I said: "what? of course I do!" and I dragged her to the dance floor and we danced like never before.
  7. North Korean football team shamed in six-hour public inquiry over World Cup Source North Korea's football team has been shamed in a six-hour public inquisition and the team's coach has been accused of "betraying" the reclusive leader's heir apparent following their failure at the World Cup, according to reports. By Barney Henderson Published: 12:15PM BST 30 Jul 2010 The team's coach, Kim Jong-hun, was reportedly forced to become a builder and has been expelled from the Workers' Party of Korea. Photo: REUTERS The entire squad was forced onto a stage at the People's Palace of Culture and subjected to criticism from Pak Myong-chol, the sports minister, as 400 government officials, students and journalists watched. The players were subjected to a "grand debate" on July 2 because they failed in their "ideological struggle" to succeed in South Africa, Radio Free Asia and South Korean media reported. The team's coach, Kim Jong-hun, was reportedly forced to become a builder and has been expelled from the Workers' Party of Korea. The coach was punished for "betraying" Kim Jong-un - one of Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il's sons and heir apparent. The country, in its first World Cup since 1966, lost all three group games – including a 7-0 defeat to Portugal. The broadcast of live games had been banned to avoid national embarrassment, but after the spirited 2-1 defeat to Brazil, state television made the Portugal game its first live sports broadcast ever. Following ideological criticism, the players were then allegedly forced to blame the coach for their defeats. Only two players avoided the inquisition - Japanese-born Jong Tae-se and An Yong-hak, who flew straight to Japan after the tournament. However, media in South Korea said the players got off lightly by North Korean standards. "In the past, North Korean athletes and coaches who performed badly were sent to prison camps," a South Korean intelligence source told the Chosun Ilbo newspaper.

  18. Nod32 is a very good anti-virus system, I used it a few years ago. But then I discovered AVG and that's even better. The main disadvantage about Nod32 is that it keeps bugging you with updates. I want an anti-virus which quietly does it's work.
  19. dammit, Roger is coming to Belgium in Juni, should I buy tickets? They are actually too expensive for me
  20. Last saturday I went to Jazz Ghent to see some of the worlds greatest jazz musicians: Julian Lage Group Awesome guitar-based jazz, Julian is a remarkable guitar player, you gotta love his virtuoso, his improvisations. The band was super too, I was impressed by the drummer in particular. Stanley Clarke Band feat. Hiromi This was amazing, best improvisation I've ever seen. Stanley Clarke, one of the most acclaimed bass players in jazz music. Hiromi, a very talented and vivid piano player. Ruslan Sirota, very good at playing standard jazz piano and doing the fills to complete the music. Ronald Bruner jr, wow, the guy can play those drums! Toots Thielemans The main reason of my visit. Almost 88 years old and still blowing the right notes at the right time. Together with pianist Kenny Werner and Guitarist Oscar Castro-Neves, he managed to fill the entire room with melancholy, everybody was quietly listening to the beautiful music. Perfect evening
  21. yes, but it's confusing as hell. When some guy tells me he's into R'n B, he's mostly not into the R&B that I like.
