  1. New quiz this time. Very easy. Got 10/10, and I only guessed one answer.
  2. When I saw the "No Tipping" sign I thought it referred to not tipping the valets or tipping the bagboys at the grocery store who might carry your groceries out to the car for you.
  3. 9/10. The only one I got wrong was about the artists matched w/ their backing groups. D'oh!
  4. I had only seen the reruns on either TVLand or VH1. I know Wolfman Jack hosted it for a while. Trivia: He played the High Chief Rama Lama of the Ding Dong tribe on the old Garfield special "Garfield in Paradise."
  5. I do like the song...and sometimes I feel mentally unstable Altho...that big needle there disturbs me *shudders*. Afraid of big, sharp, needle-like things like......that!
  6. Dark Water Jennifer Connelly plays a recently divorced mother who moves to upstate New York with her daughter, and uncovers a gruesome history of the apartment slum she has moved into. Rating: 6/10 I thought it had a good storyline, but there should have been more with it. It had some rather scary parts, but not scary enough for me. I'm sure the Japanese version is a lot better. May have to look for it one of these days.
  7. Just about anything by the Beatles...sometimes I try to imitate their British accents...badly. Poorly. Hotel California American Pie The Load-Out/Stay (I sometimes throw my voice into high-pitch at the last verse of Stay) Bohemian Rhapsody. Confess...who doesn't feel like imitating Wayne and Garth when it comes on? Especially at the guitar solo? Stairway to Heaven Sweet Home Alabama Free Bird A lot of Elton John's stuff. Brain Damage/Eclipse by Pink Floyd. I will even recite the talking parts in the background. I'll do it with the entire Dark Side of the Moon album, if I'm listening to it. As far as Beatles songs go, like I said just about all of them. I will sometimes even recite them, mainly to my dog, Rocky. You can figure out the rest. Mom called him that. I say the last lyric to him from time to time. I didn't name him, the shelter I rescued him from did. Where they got the name, I dont know.
  8. Mother - Pink Floyd Although that song is more about an overly-protective mother.
  9. We have a lot of artists come from Georgia. My ancestors were the first to settle in the city and county Trisha Yearwood was born and raised in: Monticello, GA. The county? Jasper. Named after a mule. Her latest album, Jasper County, deals with the actual county. Her song "Georgia Rain" even mentions the county. Another town I lived in, Tallapoosa, is the home town of a local DJ of one of two highly popular country stations. Rhubarb Jones was born and raised in Tallapoosa, and he returns every year to kick off some state-wide marathon for some cause. Athens is home to the B52s. You know their song "Love Shack"? We have a chain of adult novelty stores named "Love Shack". I'm sure there's more, but can't think of it now...
  10. A brunette, a redhead, and a blonde are about to be executed by a firing squad. The brunette is brought out first. As the commanding officer is giving the command to his squad, "READY....AIM..." the brunette takes her chance and yells "Earthquake!" The C.O. and squad get down on the ground, giving the brunette time to escape. After seeing what happened, they decide to bring out the redhead. Once again, the C.O. yells "READY....AIM..." at which the redhead yells "tornado!" The squad runs back into the fort to get down in the lower levels. When they emerge some time later, they see the redhead is long gone. Not giving up hope, they bring out the blonde. Again, the squad is given the command "READY...AIM..." The blonde, learning from the other two, at that point yelled "FIRE!"
  11. S'mores Pop-Tarts...warmed up in the microwave. Gooey fudgy gooeyness!
  12. Well I guess I best introduce myself. I'm Patrick, live in Georgia, and have been on this site for years now. I've added several interesting tidbits to songs in the past, and hope to again in the near future. My favorite music genre is classic rock, although I do like some songs in other categories of music. My favorite artists are The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and The Eagles. I do like other bands or singers, but these are my main three. I was born and raised on classic rock. I've listened to 80s music, kept up (somewhat) with the 90s, but got off the music express years and years ago. I like some modern music, but not enough of it to stand it. There are some artists (I use the term loosely) who just don't cut it. Well that's it for now. Hope to hear from y'all soon!
  13. I grew up listening to not only 80s music, but Classic Rock as well. My parents had a few good albums, including The Wall, and Alan Parsons Project's Eye In The Sky. When I moved in with my grandma back in 2000, I found the whole collection in a closet. The Eye In The Sky album still had the indentations from when I tried to trace the Eye Of Horus several times when I was 8 or 9. I think the album we all loved the most was The Wall. We even had the movie on VHS, and I wouuld put it on every day during the summer. When I was 8 or 9 years old. Good times, good times.
