They never stay in America long enough for me to see them. It probably doesn't help that I'm one of about 17 Americans that knows who they are.

I believe they had pre-set synthesizers which Townshend would twiddle with before the show. Apparently, every once in a while he would program them wrong, leading to onstage arguments.

With the exceptions of "Born to Run", "Hey Hey My My", and "Eight Miles High", this is probably one of my least favorite top 10s.

I beat you to it Jane. It's ok though, after thorough examination, I have decided that it's a pretty poor list. Even the Rolling Stone list is better.
