  1. Turtle joke overload! Ha! We're doing great! We're getting married in May after next semester is over so it doesn't interfere with school. There is so much involved in planning a wedding, but the only thing I'm in charge of is music and hiring the photographer.
  2. People who cheat at MarioKart online . . . If you have to get a buddy to camp out on the last turn to take me out with a red shell on the final lap just because you can't stomach the thought of losing, maybe you should just do the world a service and isolate yourself from society and all of the things that you may fail at. I work 40+ hours a week and would like to come home after work, pour a glass of Scotch or a White Russian, and enjoy som MarioKart with my fellow geeks without having to deal with the likes of you. On behalf of the MarioKart aficionados of the world I say to you, go play World of Warcraft with the rest of the simpletons and leave the serious gaming to the grown ups.
  3. While cleaning my apartment I stumbled across my copy of The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (The amazing video game, not the crappy movie). So, I've been playing that all day.
  4. I agree! I watched that last night expecting to see a washed up actor stumbling through a wreck of a movie, but it turned out to be one of his best.
  5. That's amazing! I love his music! I actually got to meet him a while back. He did a show at Kansas University and I was on the stage crew for the college at the time. I totally would have stopped. No question. I've been late to work a few times for stopping to listen to street musicians.
  6. I found my Green Lantern ring! I lost it about five months ago and had given up hope. I found it in the couch (way back in there) while searching for my car keys
  7. Haha. In all honesty, I forgot about that one until I bought the collection. Being in awesome Blu ray doesn't even save that one.
  8. Just went to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part I I thought it was great! The cinematography was fantastic and the music was epic (as usual). It was considerably darker than the others, but this is no real surprise to those who have read the books. There were some elements that I could have done without, but this is a spoiler free zone. Overall I'd give it a 8/10 Oh and some extra points for the preview for Green Lantern
  9. Yes! I just bought the whole Alien collection on Blu ray! That series is one of my fvorites
  10. My brother made me watch Alien vs. Predator . . . So I had to watch Alien and Predator back to back just to get it out of my system. Alien vs. Predator - 5/10 (Five points for the fact that Xenomotphs are awesome regardless of what they're in) Alien - 10/10 First movie to make me unable to sleep Predator - 7/10
  11. That is my all time favorite SNL moment.
  12. I completely agree. It takes a certain level of wit to do dumb comedy . . .
  13. I am now happily engaged! The proposal went off without a hitch!
  14. I love that show! I've been to New York City five times and have taken hundreds of cab rides. And still. no Cash Cab
  15. For my culinary class I have to take an existing recipe and improve it. So I'm making steamed vegetables with a lemon dill dressing. And I'm currently eating a piece of the Dutch apple pie I made last night and it's fantastic.
  16. I am drinking a glass of white grape juice. But for some reason, every time I go to take a drink I think I'm about to drink apple juice. So each drink is a pleasant surprise . . . is that weird?
  17. Yes, it was quite amazing. I was in the front row in the center. And my friend works at the place where they were playing so I got VIP tickets. Which came with a back stage meet and greet. I didn't really talk to the guys from Muse too much. But I did have a nice chat with Emily Haines from Metric.
  18. I have the one with the bonus tracks and it is freakin' great! I really liked every track. It's one of the few I have that I can listen to straight through without skipping a track.
  19. Ah, well I guess great cleavage can only do so much.
  20. Ha! That impressive cleavage is why that show is still on . . .
  21. Ask them where their Easter traditions  (eggs, rabbits, etc.) came from. While you're at it, ask where the Christmas tree, Yule log, and a whole bunch of Christmas traditions came from. Ooooh! And why are there so many examples of polytheism in the Bible. In Genesis it says that "they" created man in "their" image. And in the book of Job they refer to a "gathering of the heavenly bodies." Just saying. Christianity has its roots in paganism. And if all pagans were minions of the devil and the early Hebrews were technically pagans, and Jesus was Jewish and Christians follow the teachings of Jesus . . .Â
