  1. I could play a rendition of "Twinkle, twinkle little star" if you'd like...
  2. They all use a form of their actual name as an alias?
  3. I am a flying singing guitar-playing starfish! I only wish I had a picture of that. Although I don't miss the star ratings. I thought they made our opinions of others a bit too subjective.
  4. I'm sure there are already several "kevin" ID's registered. So the server stuck Kevin's member # on the end of his name to make him unique.
  5. Chris, I was wondering when you were going to answer this thread...
  6. So where's my prize? I'd like it in unmarked dollar bills. Mailed to me by certified mail. No checks accepted...
  7. I wish I was a butterfly... A butterfly/starfish. OOH, a starfish with wings! A FLYING SINGING STARFISH!
  8. It appears as though Elvis did a lot of sad songs... how depressing is that? How about "Unchained Melody"?
  9. I was being sarcastic... Like anyone at my office would start singing with me. They already give me weird looks when I start laughing at my computer monitor.
  10. Um, anything by Weird Al Yankovic or Dr. Demento! That would have my vote. And how can you say Living On A Prayer is cheesy? That's such a good Bon Jovi song that I just want to scream it out at work until the entire office starts singing it with me!!!
  11. I just meant that my love life is non-existant right now. Not that I feel that way, in fact I feel like I'm the life of the party. I spent all last year building myself a new group of friends and getting a better job and building a better relationship with my son. Now this year, I can start thinking about a girlfriend. But until I meet someone new, my love life is non-existant! But thank you for looking Helena!
  12. "Quick shot", don't they make certain pills you can take to remedy that? I always hate it when that happens... If Elvis were alive today, he would say the saddest song he's ever heard is whenever a boy band picks up the microphone and acts like a musician!
  13. Does anyone sing a song titled "Non-existant"?
  14. It's an opinionated question so give an opinionated answer. Hmm, I would have to build my list, because it's such a tough decision. Without counting compilation or Greatest Hits albums... 1. "Street Survivors" - Lynyrd Skynyrd 2. "Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd 3. "II" - Led Zeppelin 4. "What's The Story (Morning Glory)" - Oasis 5. "(pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd)" - Lynyrd Skynyrd 6. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - The Beatles That's all I've got so far. I'll come back in a month and I'm sure it will be slightly different.
  15. But isn't the point of this to create a single that will be sold to the general public with the money from the sales going to disaster relief? Well who's going to buy it when some of these people are singing? How many people want to hear Ozzy and his daughter singing together for disaster relief? If you're going to make a charity song, at least make it so that it's appealling to a wide spectrum of people.
  16. I don't know anything about Elvis, so I'll just stay out of this question. I just want to make sure I get a quick shot at the next one.
  17. "Street Survivors" - Lynyrd Skynyrd From the songs that are most known by Lynyrd Skynyrd, you will not find them on this album. Which is why this album is such a good one to buy. Because some of the best songs they made are on this album. This is also the album that has Steve Gaines as a featured vocalist. Some of my favorite "non-greatest hits" songs are on this album: "One More Time", "I Never Dreamed", and "Ain't No Good LIfe". It is truly Lynyrd Skynyrd at the peak of their creativity in the world of Southern Rock.
  18. I am a starfish, but what I really always wanted to be was a singing starfish!
  19. No, those were Americans just telling her to stop singing! If it's a female we're talking about, I would say Diana Ross. If it's a male, I would have to say Bob Dylan.
  20. Why don't you all just beat me to death because I have no idea who Robbie Williams is because he's pop and I can't stand pop music and I'd rather go deaf then listen to pop music for the rest of my life. So Gisela, does the song sound like... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, bah bah baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Baah, baah, baah, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Oh man I kill myself sometimes.
  21. Hmm, not exactly the musical line-up I would have chosen. I would have chosen 10 artists who actually sound great and have a heart. Ozzy Osbourne...? Why in the hell anyone would want Ozzy on a tribute album right now is beyond me. Rod Stewart is a little washed up. Steven Tyler is cool, I'd keep him. Elton John is a good choice, I'd keep him. Gwen Stefani is too poppy, get rid of her. Pink is WAY too poppy, completely get rid of her. I would think a better choice would be Alicia Keys. I have no idea who Josh Groban is, and isn't Robbie Williams british metal? And Velvet Revolver, not exactly what I would consider a band for benefits, even though they're cool. The thought of these people combining efforts makes me cringe...
  22. Pop songs I like.... Oh man that's funny... Isn't pop music just corporate made anyway? Not a lot of talent required...
  23. Here's my favorites... - Atom Heart Mother - Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Wish You Were Here - Brain Damage - Hey You - Mother - Comfortably Numb - San Tropez - Free Four - One Of These Days And some others I can't think of at the moment.
  24. That is a fantastic song. I love it when the Eagles get mellow and make their acoustic guitars sound like magic to the ears. The CD I have has a live version of Seven Bridges Road, oh man, it's so beautiful.
