Brand New aren't a new band, they've been around for a while but I don't think they get much appriciation on these boards. They are an emo band and have released 2 albums that I am aware of, I only have the newer one called "Deja Entendu". Their most popular song that they have released is "Sic Trasit Gloria...Glory Fades". Their lyrics are amazing. If I could If I could paint over this day. Paint over the grey that shades every object and soul. Paint this sky with vibrant hues of a pinky background with strokes of singsong yellow spread out from the orange sun; imperfect lilac clouds adding character. Paint each step we walk together with my heart as it pours out. Paint your cheek with my lips for one moment, leaving the boldest anonymous colour. Paint myself into the background. If I could draw another straw. Draw the one that is exactly the same shape, colour and size as yours. The one that makes me not "it". "It". The pseudo-human. Draw the straw that makes me close to you; curve my arm around yours like a straw over the edge of a glass. Be able to shape my mind and body into what you want me to be. If I could erase this thought. Erase this so I don't have to live in my dream world and stay asleep until you're gone. So I can't close my eyes and be where I want to be. And finally deal with this. There is merely too much grey. There is no straw. Open my eyes. They've been closed to long. Close my heart. It will help next time. Lock these thoughts in. Fill this hole in my heart with metal. Hell yeah they do put on a show! I went on the 10th of February this year and they were awesome!

Yeah, i use that all the time, if someone says Hey ho to me as a greeting, i HAVE to say "let's go!".

I love Green Day. I hate most of the stuff in that catagory but I am obsessed with Green Day, less so with their newer stuff but I love them.

I really liked the last stanza of Thoughts Of You. My favourite was Miss You. I liked the constant theme of the bird in A Reminder. All very good.

Oh my god, the foos were amazing, i almost cried during Everlong, it was so beautiful. Green Day aren't letting any of their performance be filmed and broadcast on the bbc because they are bringing out a dvd and filming tonight which sucks as i am a BIG Green Day fan. Oh well. Kaiser Chiefs rocked. Travis were very good and exceddingly happy throughout the whole set that was shown, it was really sweet.

My sister is going to T in The Park and i am insanely jealous of her! She's going on the Sunday which, apart from Green Day, QOTSA, Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian isn't the best line up. I woul;d have loved to go on the Saturday!
