Veteran rocker Rod Stewart is fed up with being described in print as short and a hoarder of money. The singer, who is engaged to model Penny Lancaster, insists he is both generous and taller than people think. He says, "There are two misconceptions about me that get repeated. "One, that I'm tight. Two, that I'm five foot, seven inches, which annoys me. The papers say, 'Midget-like Rod, Penny's boyfriend'. "I'm not five foot, seven inches, I'm more like five foot, 11 inches."
