phil
I watched it last night and it was great. It was made two months after Neil's father died and it is very reflective and emotional . Director Jonathon Demme puts you right on stage with Neil and the band. I recommend watching it alone and at night. The music is great and if you love Neil, you will really love this movie. MotoRacerX36
Is it a movie, or a documentary, or is it like the old MTV Unplugged type videos? I'm going to buy it regardless, but I'm kind of interested in what format its in.
phil
It is a movie of a one time concert Neil did at the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Neil hand picked the band who are old friends of his. The first part is Neil doing his then new Prarie Wind album which is a very personal album about his family and friends. But, the way it is presented by the director makes it very revealing and emotional. It really shows what a true artist Neil Young is.
