The Seeker
I recently heard I song that I've been trying to find since then. I think it's from the 60s, sounds like early Psychedelic, maybe also a bit like the Creation. It starts with a distorted guitar, and the lyrics I can rememeber were something about plastic men and something like "I look under my pillow, I look up and see something yellow". (well not like that, but with those words) It'd be great if someone could help me. Thanks. Edited June 13, 2006 by Guest Answered!
Earth-Angel
Pictures of Matchstick men - Status Quo This is the song that comes to mind, I'll have a look for you though When I look up to the skies I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow I rush home to bed I soak my head I see your face underneath my pillow I wake next morning, tired, still yawning See your face come peeping through my window Pictures of matchstick men and you Mirages of matchstick men and you All I ever see is them and you Windows echo your reflection When I look in their direction now When will this haunting stop? Your face it just wont leave me alone Pictures of matchstick men and you Mirages of matchstick men and you All I ever see is them and you Youre in the sky and with the sky You make men cry, you lie Youre in the sky and with the sky You make men cry, you lie Pictures of matchstick men and Pictures of matchstick men and you Pictures of matchstick men... The Seeker
Yes, that sounds very right. I'll have to wait till my Limewire works again until I can check, but I'm fairly certain that this is the song. Thanks!

The Seeker
Ok, here's another one, I just heard it on a TV show, and really liked it. I don't have much, though, they didn't play much of it. It was just an acoustic guitar and a steady beat, and I think a bit of keyboard at the end. Overall quite relaxed and quiet. The lyrics I got were: -go ahead -...chasing you -love me -you got nothing better to do (or you got nothing bad to do) -...enough to believe -it ain't gonna be awful anymore It's not much. It sounded rather new, and it was either a man singing or a woman with a very dark voice. Someone have any idea?
Farin
I think it could be... Amos Lee ~ Seen It All Before Go ahead baby, run away again I’m growing tired of chasing you I know you only have time to love me When you got nothing better to do Who’s bold enough to believe In either love or war Both just leave you busted, and broken down, and wanting more Baby I’ve seen it all before You know that I’ve seen it all before You know that I’ve seen it all before I ain’t gonna be your fool any more I can hear my heart pounding Oh, but I just can’t decide Stuck between the depths of my fears and the peaks of my pride Repeat chorus I’ve seen your tricks and your trade offs I’ve seen your evil ways I’ve seen every thing your twisted smile conveys I ain’t gonna be your fool, baby I ain’t gonna be your fool, baby I ain’t gonna be your fool, baby I ain’t gonna be your fool baby Any more
