If anyone has any interesting stuff I can use as 'patter' I'd certainly appreciate any input I can get on the following songs...New York, New York - The Lady is a Tramp, and On the Way to Cape May Thanx a bunch! If anyone knows of a resource I could use for Big Band and swing music, that would be much appreciated also! Jazzcat Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 Alan, can't give you anything on those specific tunes but here's a great resource for short stories etc. Get the book "Jazz Annecdotes" by Bill Crow. It's published by Oxford Press and is a wonderful collection of short stories, jokes, and wacky incidents in the lives of many jazz figures.
