marlink
My daughter likes to communicate through songs and I am going through a divorce. We are very close but missing each other terribly so I would like to send her songs about my feelings for her. Can anyone help finding songs for us to share our feelings? Foxy
I know this song is a love song, but most of it could apply to a family relationship as well. I think it's beautiful, and most fathers would do anything for their daughters... "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)" ~ Bryan Adams Look into my eyes - you will see, What you mean to me. Search your heart - search your soul, And when you find me there, you'll search no more. Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for. You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for. You know it's true, Everything I do - I do it for you. Look into your heart - you will find, There's nothin' there to hide. Take me as I am - take my life, I would give it all - I would sacrifice. Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for. I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more. Ya know it's true, Everything I do - I do it for you. There's no love - like your love. And no other - could give more love. There's nowhere - unless you're there. All the time - all the way. Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for. I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more, Yeah, I would fight for you - I'd lie for you. Walk the wire for you - yeah, I'd die for you. Ya know it's true. Everything I do. Ohhhhhhh, I do it for you.
Foxy
And this one could be nice too: "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" ~ Stevie Wonder You are the sunshine of my life That's why I'll always be around, You are the apple of my eye, Forever you'll stay in my heart I feel like this is the beginning, Though I've loved you for a million years, And if I thought our love was ending, I'd find myself drowning in my own tears. You are the sunshine of my life, That's why I'll always stay around, You are the apple of my eye, Forever you'll stay in my heart, You must have known that I was lonely, Because you came to my rescue, And I know that this must be heaven, How could so much love be inside of you? You are the sunshine of my life, yeah, That's why I'll always stay around, You are the apple of my eye, Forever you'll stay in my heart. (Background) Love has joined us, Love has joined us, Let's think sweet love.

marlink
The great thing about my daughter is she loves all music from country to rap, classic to rock. She has really enjoyed Michael Buble lately and of course the young group Click Five. She is a very creative, funny and interesting daughter to be around especially when she designs her own clothes. She is turning 16 on Dec. 15.
katie_sane
Landslide by Fleetwood Mac (written by Stevie Nicks) is about a father - daughter relationship. Landslide I took my love, I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills 'Till the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky What is love Can the child within my heart rise above Can I sail through the changing ocean tides Can I handle the seasons of my life I don't know Well, I've been afraid of changing 'Cause I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder Even children get older And I'm getting older too Oh, take my love, take it down Climb a mountain and turn around If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well the landslide will bring it down If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well the landslide will bring it down.
