catherine51940
quite a few years ago a good friend made me a cassette tape from her personal music collection. On it was a version of "Desperado" sung by Bonnie Raitt. My friend has recently passed away and although I have searched highand low for the cassete I cannot find it. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this recording? It would mean the world to me if I could hear this song one more time.
Lucky
Catherine I'm sorry for your loss, but if anyone can help, someone here can. I'd actually like to hear that myself. Music can do an awful lot to soothe in times like you are going through, I know. Bluesy? This would be a question for you!
bluesboy
Hi Catherine, I don't see a listing for Bonnie Raitt. Maybe Linda Rondstadt ?
Brad_M
Both Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt covered that song. Bonnie never included it on any of her albums, but Linda did. It's possible it may be on a compilation album somewhere, but I couldn't find any listings for it.
