I used to watch it all the time when it was on the Saturday Afternoon Movie like every other week. It disappeared for awhile and I recently found it again in my video collection. This is by far one of my favorite "rock" movies. Especially being from Jersey! Anyone else A) Heard of this movie? and Find it as interesting and amazing as I do? Uncle Joe Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 I liked the movie. The music from The Beaver Brown Band was very good (in the movie's context especially). It was very interesting as you say. The timing was good in that the "Jim Morrison's alive" kick was still quite strong. And the band's music was very reminiscent of early Springsteen who was red hot at the time of the movie. Say, whatever happened to Michael Pare anyway? Hmmmm, perhaps the making of another movie? Wasn't even aware that Eddie & the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives was out there until a few years ago. It was cool to see a continuation of the story.
